The Nintendo Wii is a breakthrough in video game evolution and technology. No other video game system bridges the generation gap like the Nintendo Wii.
What is great about the Wii, as a father, age 30, I can play many of the games with my 4 year old daughter. She has no problem swinging the wiimote around to play tennis, baseball, bowling, etc. A day later, I can have just as much fun playing with my mom, who did not grow up in the video game era.
Not only does the Wii bridge the generation gap, it also bridges the Nintendo gap. Nintendo gap? I started on the original 8 bit Nintendo. I can purchase Wii Points and get some of my favorite classic games like Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Metroid, and more!
Honestly, I haven't owned a Nintendo since the original. I had friends that had various versions. So there are other popular games that I can also order.
I've got a wireless router in my home for internet access. I was suprised to see that I could connect to the internet with my Wii. I was more suprised at how simple it was to do. I can now play games like Mario Kart with my friends and family who live hours away. How cool is that?
